The Classic Stage
 Nothing goes better with great barbecue than good music, and we have both at The
Georgia Barbecue Classic. Entertainment is free with your paid gate admission, and you'll
hear plenty of talent on the Classic Stage both Friday and Saturday.
Acts are still being booked for the 2008 show, but you can expect top-drawer regional
entertainers like last year's headliners Buck and Duke
and Babe's Bayou.
The entertainment continues when as soon as the gates open to the public
 Saturday morning,
hosted by your favorite on-air personalities from South 107's live remote
broadcast. Also on the Classic Stage will be the judging of the Open Pit
Challenge, a unique contest where backyard cooks present their
most creative fire-cooked entrees to a panel of celebrity judges while you watch!
The event wraps up with the Backyard and Pro division awards for a full weekend
of Southern music as authentic
as hickory smoked barbecue.
